Cody and Kandace

The Post Card Inn on Islamorada was a stunning backdrop for the nuptials of Cody and Kandace. They were surround by friends and family who came to witness their marriage and party long after the sun went down. The weather was beautiful; the temperature was just right- December in the Florida Keys was the perfect place to be!

Jennifer and Matthew

It really is a small world after all. I met Jenn in collage at UCF over a decade ago. She was from the same small town as my as next-door-neighbors (who would soon enough introduce me to my husband, from that same small town) Fast forward 13 years later, our paths crossed again after I did a photo shoot for her 1 year old niece. On her wedding day, I found out there was only 1 degree of separation with her both of her bridesmaids, and hair dresser to my husband and Erica, the other photographer.

The weather parted enough for the ceremony to be held outside, but we were really lucky that Matt and Jen opted for a first look! We were able to get some great shots before the ceremony, while the weather was still at its best! The Hillsboro Club and the lighthouse made for some amazing backdrops to highlight this  amazing couple who was surrounded by so much love. It was a great day to be among such a close knit group. mead-16mead-17mead-18mead-19

Matthew and Jodi

Matt and Jodi both knew they were done searching for “the one” when they met one another and it was so fun to watch the clouds roll back and the day unfold to let light and love shine through. The Jupiter Beach Resort was not only an amazing location to host such an wonderful affair, but the staff made the night extra special for the entire party because of their attention to detail for all of their guests. Matt and Jodi’s teal and grey color scheme was amplified by the surrounding warm beach sand and blue waters. The reception kicked off with dancing and it never stopped. Cheers to the happy couple!

Kathryn and Brett

They met at school, but were not students. He, a music teacher; she, a school nurse. It has been a fairy tale in the making. Kathryn and Brett put their heart and soul and talents into creating a day they would always remember. They kept it traditional  by not seeing each other before their vows, but they did take the time to pray over their marriage before officially committing to one another. Their wedding day was a colorful tribute to their love for each other and the new family they were creating with Sutter! The colors, the laughs, the smiles, the choreographed dancing, the mother/son dance, and daughter/mom dance, even the surprise wedding cake for the groom were all wonderful  moments to witness.bailey-blog-2bailey-blog-7bailey-blog-9bailey-blog-14

Ranjie and Rebecca’s Engagement

We met for the first time at a bridal show in West Palm Beach and then met again over coffee at Panera. As we talked about the details of their wedding day, I got so excited for all the fun they are planning on their wedding day. Their guests have no idea what they are in for! The only unfortunate thing is I have to wait until January 2017 to share all the secrets! However, we did get blessed by a beautiful sunset session in Downtown Delray’s Veterans Park. Thank you Rebecca and Ranjie for choosing Part of a Pair Photography to capture your engagement session as well as your wedding day. We can’t wait!!

Colin and Nicole

The day started off like most wedding days, with the family and friends of the bride doting on her and bustling around making sure everything was being taken care of. The one thing that was outside anyone’s control, was the thing that was out of control. The weather. The bride and groom chose to do a “First Touch” which is where they did not want to see each other before the wedding, but wanted to the intimacy of touching one last time before becoming husband and wife. Only minutes later, they would face each other on the long sandy aisle at The Hilton, Singer Island, and greeted by rain droplets. As Nicole tried to ignore the droplets, they become larger and more abundant. The full deluge appeared as they were quickly saying their vows. Family members rushed in with cabana umbrellas to shield the couple from the downpour, but most guests had already scurried to seek shelter. Colin and Nicole no sooner had their first kiss as husband and wife before they ran to seek shelter for themselves. After a brief respite to refresh and allow the Florida rain to pass, their were greeted by a rainbow to finish their sand ceremony in front of their guests and to officially be pronounced ‘Husband and Wife.’ This couple remained high spirited and proceeded to dance and party the night away. Cheers Colin and Nicole! Rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck and you showered with both luck and love!

John and Staysi

Staysi and John sure know how to throw a party! We had an amazing time with this couple and their family and friends at the Turtle Creek Country Club in Tequesta. The weather was beautiful  and provided an incredible backdrop for the couple’s first look as well as their vows and we were blessed with a gorgeous sunset. Staysi had planned multiple surprises for her guests including special dances with her mom and dad. Guests also wasted no time getting their groove on. From beginning to end, it was an amazing day filled with romance and love. Thank you for including us on your wedding day, Staysi and John! Congratulations!
